Buckhorn Observatory promotes the use of responsible lighting including full-cut-off outdoor lights for home and commercial use.

On May 6, John Crossen of Buckhorn Observatory made a presentation to Galway-Cavendish & Harvey Township Council to urge their adoption of lighting standards.
