About BHO's Facility and Equipment
The John Kidner StarDeck
All you need is your eyes to tour the constellations. Using a laster that shoots a beam 5,000 feet into the sky, resident astronomer John Crossen points out the constellations and tells some tales about them.

Put your eyes on steroids with a pair of binoculars. Buckhorn Observatory has eight pair of loaners or you may bring your own.
Buckhorn Observatory's 11-inch computerized telescope can take you to the planets, stars and galaxies that are thousands of light yeasr beyond. Its power ranges from 95 times magnification to a theoretical 600 times.

For resort Moon tours, a 6-inch Celestron computerized scope makes the rounds. Like all BHO scopes, it tracks with the stars overhead.
